Well ladies and gentleman, just cleared out the Civilian News and now will give a recap of things to remember:
1Lt. Ben O'Scanlan would like everyone to know, "Donate Mother Fuckers." We are a big enough unit to not to have to rely on big donations from few people. Everyone can donate a minuscule amount of money to keep the unit up and running. To you city slickers, don't buy a latte' or coffee from Starbucks, you can live a day without having one, donate the $5. To you hicks, you can live without buying a case of bullets or a case of beer for a day, donate the $5. To those still in Secondary or High School, don't eat lunch for a day, (or take the money from the geeky kid if that kid is not you), donate the $5. We can all live with something for one day, but we cannot live without the server, forum, or vent for a month.
Maj. Scholma and Capt. Fitzsimmons would like everyone to know all rules are being enforced more harshly. Saluting will now be a mandatory on all people. If you do not know the rules on saluting here is the Ranger Manual read it and get familiar with it:
http://sixthrangers.com/forum/index.php?sh...ic=7596&hl= If you do not understand it from the manual, ask a SNCO to explain it to you in detail or make you a colorful chart. If that doesn't work, you are shit outa luck and be prepared to be a Private for a long time.
Also, remember to check in from all LOA's. Reminder, LOAs are 3 or more days away from the game. If you have a LOA documented and you don't check in, you will receive a demerit if you do not check in before game play. We are trying hard to keep track of everyone in the unit and keeping all rosters up-to-date.
6th Ranger Battalion is built on respect to everyone race, gender, and creed. The unit has had it's ups and downs and we have come out stronger than we went in. We are now one of the leading realism units in Day of Defeat: Source and we have you the people of the community to thank. No good deed in the unit has gone unnoticed and all will be rewarded be it 6th RB, SAC, or pubber. We are back in a Golden Age of the Sixth Ranger Battalion.
To those who are new to the website, I bid you welcome. To those who just read the update, keep up the good work.
